Workshop Manager

We are seeking an experienced

Workshop Manager to lead our Cairns operation. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone with a strong technical background in either

Auto Electrical or Transport Refrigeration who can effectively manage people, workflow and customer relationships.

About The Role

As Workshop Manager, you'll be responsible for:

• Managing the day-to-day operations of the workshop
• Leading, mentoring and supporting technicians and apprentices
• Planning and scheduling workshop jobs to maximise productivity
• Ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction
• Providing technical support and guidance to the team
• Managing parts procurement and supplier relationships
• Monitoring workshop performance, efficiency and profitability
• Maintaining a safe and compliant workplace
• Building and maintaining strong customer relationships

About You

Trade Qualifications And Experience In Either

• Auto Electrical, or
• Transport Refrigeration

Previous experience leading a team or supervising technicians

Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and customer service abilities

A commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement

Sound computer and administration skills

Current driver's licence
