Senior Lawyer, Employment & Workplace Relations | Contract Opportunity with potential for extension

We are working with national specialist agency who is currently seeking an employment lawyer with 5 + years experience to join their high-performing team.

This opportunity offers broad ranging work which will see you advising on a range of employment investigations, privacy incidents, data and workplace health and safety matters, workplace projects, HR policies, and general employment litigation for an initial 6 month term, with the strong possibility of extension.

Key Responsibilities

• Leading and advising on workplace investigations, fact-finding and interviewing;
• Advising on employment compliance, employee relations, and generalist employment law ;
• Drafting employment contracts, advising on policies, project based employment matters;
• Representing clients in complex employment disputes in a range of jurisdictions.

Ideal Candidate

• Senior level lawyer (at least 5 + yearas PQE) with a strong employment, workplace relations background;
• Proven ability to manage workplace investigations and sensitive workplace matters;
• Strong drafting, advisory and client management skills;
• Experience in general employment matters, including workplace health and safety.
• AGSVA Security Clearance preferred.
