We are currently seeking a skilled

Mechanical Supervisor to join our team in Traralgon, VIC (local base DIDO). In this hands-on leadership role, you'll oversee the maintenance and performance of critical mechanical systems, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient operations. Reports to Mechanical Superintendent / Maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of mechanical technicians and contractors
• Supervise mechanical maintenance of pumps, dredgers, stackers, conveyor systems, and auxiliary systems
• Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and procurement teams
• Support asset reliability and plant performance improvements
• Contribute to long-term site transition and decommissioning planning

What We're Looking For

• Trade qualification in Mechanical Engineering or Fitter.
• Proven experience in heavy industrial, mining, trade or power generation environments
• Strong leadership and team coordination skills
• Sound knowledge of OHS regulations and safe work practices
• Proficiency with maintenance systems
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• SAP experience
