Role Overview

Seeking an experienced Purchaser to manage local procurement for a major infrastructure project, including sourcing, supplier engagement, purchase orders and delivery coordination.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage RFQs, quotations and purchase orders.
  • Source and negotiate with suppliers on pricing and delivery.
  • Track and expedite orders to meet project requirements.
  • Coordinate with Warehouse, Engineering, Logistics and Finance.
  • Maintain procurement records and compliance.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years’ experience in purchasing/procurement.
  • Experience with RFQs, supplier negotiations, POs and expediting.
  • Knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems.
  • Strong commercial, communication and organisational skills.
  • Background in construction, infrastructure, energy, mining or heavy industry preferred.
