Revenue Advisor (Leadership role) | Location - Yeppoon, Queensland |contract|Australian full working rights,No Sponsorship.

Accomodation will be provided for the right candidate.

We are seeking to engage a suitably qualified and experienced resource to

undertake the role of Revenue Advisor on a temporary basis.

It is a critical leadership position within Council's Finance and Governance function, responsible

for overseeing revenue operations, including rates, charges, revenue collection, financial reconciliations, compliance,

reporting and audit requirements.

The role provides specialist technical advice, leads the Revenue team, maintains key financial controls and supports

strategic financial planning and continuous improvement initiatives.

Given the specialised expertise and leadership responsibilities associated with the position, the engagement is required to

ensure continuity of service delivery, maintain statutory and financial compliance, minimise operational risk and support

Council's ongoing financial sustainability during the recruitment period.

Background information / Compatibility requirements

Key responsibilities, qualifications and experience include

High level with Infor Pathway

* Sound level with TechOne

* Experience with Local Government Debt Recovery and Collaboration with external provider

Collections House.

* Revenue and Treasury Accountant background a bonus.

* Hold Tertiary qualification in Business (Accounting or related discipline) and substantial experience in a revenue

management or accounting focused position.
