Hungry Jack’s – National Support Centre

We’re looking for a highly organised and detail-focused Property Lease Administrator to join our Property team and support the administration, tracking and reconciliation of occupancy costs across our national restaurant portfolio.

This role will suit someone who enjoys working with numbers, leases and financial information and has the attention to detail to ensure rental payments, outgoings and other property costs are accurate and processed in line with lease requirements.

About the Role

Working closely with our Property, Finance and Accounts Payable teams, you’ll be responsible for managing and maintaining key property and occupancy cost information.

Maintaining accurate and up-to-date property and lease information within our database

Reviewing monthly rental invoices against lease terms and coordinating payments with Accounts Payable

Reviewing and calculating rent reviews, adjustments and applicable back charges

Monitoring critical lease dates and ensuring required actions are completed on time

Reviewing and reconciling budgeted and actual property outgoings

Identifying and investigating discrepancies, unusual increases and charges that may not be payable under the relevant lease

Reviewing sundry property charges and invoices for accuracy

Reviewing turnover rent calculations against applicable lease thresholds and percentages

Coordinating with Finance regarding turnover sales and turnover rent requirements

Preparing monthly summaries and reconciliations of rental and outgoing adjustments

Maintaining accurate supporting documentation and records in SharePoint

Responding to queries from internal stakeholders, landlords and managing agents

About You

You’ll be someone who is analytical, organised and highly detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

Ideally, you’ll bring:

Previous experience in property, lease administration, finance, accounting or a similar analytical/administrative role

Tertiary qualifications, preferably with an accounting, finance, property or related background

Strong numerical and analytical skills

Excellent attention to detail and a focus on accuracy

The ability to interpret lease terms and apply them to payments, reviews and reconciliations

Strong organisational skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines

Confidence working with financial information, invoices and reconciliations

Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel

Clear communication skills and the confidence to work with a range of intenal and external stakeholders

Experience within retail property, commercial leasing, lease administration or occupancy cost management would be particularly advantageous.
