Senior Orbus iServer System Administrator

Canberra preferred | Brisbane or Melbourne considered | 12-month contract + extensions | Active TSPV clearance

Vectiq is seeking an experienced Senior Orbus iServer System Administrator to support a complex enterprise ICT environment. This role will suit someone with strong Orbus iServer administration experience, enterprise architecture repository management expertise, and a solid background in secure ICT infrastructure and operational support.

The Role

You’ll work closely with architects and technical teams to support and maintain enterprise systems, provide infrastructure and integration advice, and contribute to the ongoing operation and improvement of critical ICT services.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Administering and supporting Orbus iServer
  • Supporting enterprise architecture repositories and related systems
  • Providing ICT infrastructure and systems integration advice
  • Supporting solution designs, system views and architectures
  • Leading the build and operational support of system components
  • Managing system performance, availability, capacity and security
  • Investigating operational issues and implementing improvements
  • Supporting disaster recovery and service availability activities
  • Building strong relationships with technical and business stakeholders

  • Orbus iServer – mandatory
  • Microsoft IIS – mandatory
  • Microsoft SQL Server
  • Microsoft BI
  • Microsoft SharePoint
  • Enterprise ICT infrastructure and systems administration
  • Availability, capacity and problem management
  • Infrastructure automation and operational support
  • System design, installation and decommissioning
  • Network fundamentals and network security

A relevant degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology or a related discipline is also required.

This is a senior-level opportunity offering an initial 12-month engagement with potential extensions.
