Our client, one of Australia's most prestigious law firms, is seeking an experienced commercial litigation lawyer to join their Litigation practice in Sydney.

The firm consistently handles some of the most complex, high-profile and landmark disputes in Australia, acting for major corporates, high-net-worth individuals, boards and directors, financial institutions and government bodies. The work spans commercial litigation and dispute resolution, class action defence, corporate regulatory investigations, white collar crime, banking and insurance disputes, international fraud and asset recovery, and restructuring and insolvency matters.

The firm is consistently recognised by Chambers Asia-Pacific, Legal 500 Asia-Pacific, Best Lawyers International and Doyle's Guide across all its practice areas and has been voted Australia's Law Firm of the Year in two practice areas.

The Litigation team in Sydney is exceptionally strong, comprising several highly regarded partners who act across all superior courts including the NSW and Victorian Supreme Courts, the Federal Court and the High Court of Australia.

About you:

• 3+ years' post-qualification experience in commercial litigation and dispute resolution, gained at a leading domestic or international law firm
• Strong experience across complex commercial disputes, regulatory matters, and/or class actions (experience across more than one of these areas is highly regarded)
• Demonstrated ability to manage matters with a degree of independence while working collaboratively within a close-knit, high-performing team
• Australian-qualified with strong academic credentials
