Accounts Receivable Officer

We are currently recruiting for an experienced

Accounts Receivable Officer to join a well-established business operating within the electrical and engineering services sector.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced AR professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and wants to be part of a collaborative finance team.

About the role

• Managing the end-to-end accounts receivable process
• Raising invoices and processing customer payments
• Allocations, reconciliations and maintaining accurate customer accounts
• Following up outstanding invoices and managing debtor balances
• Building strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
• Responding to account queries and resolving discrepancies
• Assisting with month-end reporting and reconciliations
• Monitoring aged debtors and supporting cash-flow objectives
• Providing general support across the wider Finance function

About you

• Previous experience in an Accounts Receivable position
• Experience within construction, engineering, electrical services or a project-based environment (desirable)
• Strong reconciliation and problem-solving skills
• Confidence communicating with customers and internal stakeholders
• Excellent attention to detail and time management
• The ability to work independently while contributing to a wider team
• Strong Excel and accounting systems experience
