Role Overview

As the lead

Organisational Psychologist, you will join the national Consulting team in a permanent part-time position based in Canberra (.8FTE).

This role is ideal for an experienced Psychologist looking to move beyond a traditional clinical caseload and gain exposure across workplace mental health, training and facilitation, coaching, psychosocial risk and organisational consulting.

You will work closely with a variety of clients to design and deliver evidence-based workplace mental health initiatives while managing consulting projects of varying size and complexity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging workplace mental health and wellbeing training and consulting services
  • Design and facilitate evidence-based training programs for organisations
  • Provide coaching, supervision and consulting support
  • Conduct individual and team assessments across a variety of workplace environments
  • Complete psychometric assessments and psychosocial risk assessments
  • Support workplace conflict resolution matters
  • Analyse assessment outcomes and prepare comprehensive reports
  • Manage consulting projects of varying scope and complexity
  • Build strong relationships with corporate and government stakeholders

Ideal Candidate

  • Full AHPRA Registration as a Psychologist is essential
  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a Psychologist
  • Experience designing and delivering adult education, training or mental health programs
  • Strong presentation, facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Experience in conflict resolution, psychometric assessment and/or psychosocial risk assessment is highly regarded
  • Comfortable working independently and managing client relationships
  • Willingness to obtain government security clearance
  • Current driver's licence, own vehicle and flexibility to travel across Canberra
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is desirable but not essential
