The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity for a Senior Associate/SC to join a highly regarded Digital Economy practice in Sydney.

The role offers exposure to sophisticated technology, digital transformation, data, privacy, cyber and emerging technology matters, advising leading corporate, government and technology clients.

The Role

You will work across:

• Technology procurement, outsourcing and cloud arrangements
• Drafting and negotiating complex technology and commercial agreements
• Data, privacy and cyber risk matters
• Intellectual property and commercialisation
• Digital transformation, AI and emerging technologies
• Consumer law issues in digital environments

You will also have opportunities to mentor junior lawyers, develop client relationships and contribute to business development.

About You

• 5+ years' post-admission experience
• Strong technology, IP, commercial or related experience
• Experience in front-end advisory and transactional matters
• Excellent drafting, negotiation and communication skills
• Commercial and practical approach to legal advice
• Genuine interest in technology and emerging areas of law
