Your new company

Join a large Federal Government department undertaking a diverse portfolio of ICT initiatives. Working within a central Project Management Office (PMO), you will support the successful delivery of key technology projects that contribute to organisational transformation and business outcomes.

Your new role

As a Project Support Officer, you will provide project governance, coordination and administrative support across a range of ICT projects. Working closely with Program and Project Managers, you will assist with project documentation, reporting, meeting coordination, risk and issue management, stakeholder engagement and governance activities. You will play an important role in ensuring projects remain on track and aligned with established PMO frameworks and processes.

What you'll need to succeed

• Experience providing project support within a PMO or project environment
• Strong project governance, reporting and documentation skills
• Experience managing risks, issues, actions and dependencies
• Ability to engage effectively with stakeholders, technical teams and vendors
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
• Experience supporting project boards, steering committees or governance forums
• Knowledge of project management methodologies such as PRINCE2, PMBOK or Agile is highly regarded
• Must have an NV1 Security Clearance
