Project Manager

People8 has partnered with an established Queensland commercial builder to appoint an experienced Project Manager on a builder side.

This is an opportunity to join a hands-on construction business with a strong pipeline of work, initially taking responsibility for the completion of a project at Sunshine Coast before moving onto a circa $35 million project in Brisbane.

About the Company

Our client is an established Queensland commercial and industrial builder with a strong focus on quality delivery, repeat client relationships and practical, hands-on leadership. With a healthy pipeline of upcoming projects, they are looking for an experienced Project Manager who can take ownership of delivery and work closely with the broader construction team.

Requirements

• Proven Project Management experience within commercial construction in Queensland.
• Demonstrated capability delivering projects of comparable size and complexity, ideally in the $20M–$40M range.
• Strong understanding of programme, subcontractor, cost, quality and site delivery requirements.
• Commercially capable with strong contract administration, forecasting and stakeholder management skills.
• A practical, hands-on leadership style with the ability to drive projects through to successful completion.
