About the role

We're recruiting a Principal Enterprise Architect to act as Technical Lead for a program of work focused on assessing, enhancing and maturing a Federal Government agency's cryptographic services capability, including PKI and Hardware Security Modules (HSMs). This senior technical authority role combines strategic architecture with hands-on leadership, supporting governance frameworks, certificate management policies and operational processes.

This is a labour hire engagement with the Commonwealth Government, and the successful candidate must hold, or be able to obtain, a Negative Vetting Level 1 (NV1) security clearance.

Essential criteria

1. Demonstrated experience leading the assessment, architecture and improvement of enterprise security or cryptographic services (PKI, HSMs, certificate/key management, identity or trust services)
2. Demonstrated experience developing governance arrangements for security, cryptographic, identity or trust services policies, standards, procedures, operating models
3. Demonstrated experience leading secure technology services across the full delivery lifecycle, including transition to operations
4. Demonstrated experience as a senior technical authority, influencing stakeholders and mentoring teams
5. Able to hold or obtain a Negative Vetting Level 1 (NV1) security clearance
