Commercial Finance Manager

This is an opportunity to join a large, established Australian organisation in a high-impact Commercial Finance Manager role, partnering with senior leaders and helping shape key business decisions.

What you'll be doing

• Partner with senior Sales, Marketing and business leaders to drive performance
• Lead financial input into strategic planning, budgeting and forecasting
• Analyse key revenue, volume and cost drivers and identify opportunities to improve profitability
• Build financial models and business cases to support major commercial decisions
• Provide clear, insightful commentary that helps leaders understand performance and make better decisions
• Support the development and evaluation of new initiatives and investment opportunities
• Challenge assumptions, identify risks and bring a strong commercial lens to decision making
• Drive continuous improvement across planning, forecasting and commercial finance processes

What we're looking for

You'll be an experienced Commercial Finance Manager, Finance Business Partner or FP&A professional who enjoys getting close to the business and influencing outcomes.

Ideally, you'll bring:

• 5+ years' experience in commercial finance or business partnering
• Degree qualification in Finance, Commerce or a related discipline
• CA/CPA or MBA desirable
• Strong budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling capability
• Advanced Excel and strong systems/data skills
• Excellent commercial and analytical thinking
• Strong stakeholder management skills and the confidence to challenge and influence
• The ability to turn complex financial information into clear, actionable insights
