Your new role

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Payroll & Workforce Systems Manager to lead workforce reporting, payroll systems administration and a significant enterprise-wide Workday implementation project.

Working within a collaborative People and Culture function, you will play a key role in ensuring workforce data integrity, delivering strategic reporting and driving improvements across payroll and HR systems.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead the transition from Aurion to Workday across payroll and HR functions.
  • Manage workforce reporting, analytics and data governance activities.
  • Deliver executive reporting, annual reporting requirements and ad hoc workforce insights.
  • Support legislative, compliance and audit reporting obligations.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across payroll, HR systems and business processes.
  • Oversee HR information systems, including enhancements, upgrades and optimisation.
  • Develop and maintain system documentation and standard operating procedures.
  • Partner with stakeholders across the organisation to provide timely and accurate workforce advice.

What you'll need to succeed

Must be an Australian Citizen with a Baseline security clearance

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • Demonstrated experience managing HRIS and payroll systems, ideally Aurion and/or Workday.
  • Strong understanding of payroll legislation, employment frameworks and compliance requirements.
  • Experience in workforce data management, reporting and analytics.
  • Proven capability delivering system improvement, transformation or implementation projects.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and report-writing skills.
  • A continuous improvement mindset with a strong attention to detail.
  • Baseline Security Clearance, or the ability to obtain one.
