A nationally recognised multidisciplinary engineering consultancy is looking for a Senior Structural Engineer to join its Brisbane team during one of the most exciting periods of development the city has experienced.

As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will take genuine responsibility for project delivery rather than simply operating as another member of a large design team.

• Leading structural design across significant projects

• Managing individual projects and major structural packages

• Coordinating engineers, designers and project deliverables

• Providing technical guidance and design reviews

• Working closely with architects and other engineering disciplines

• Attending client, design and construction meetings

• Resolving technical and site-related issues

• Mentoring and developing less experienced engineers

• Managing programmes, quality and deadlines

We are looking for someone with strong Australian building structures experience who is comfortable working across reinforced concrete and structural steel.

You should have the confidence to take ownership of your work, communicate effectively with clients and other consultants and provide direction to engineers working alongside you.

Strong analytical and structural design capability will be important, particularly across larger and more complex building projects.
