About The Role

This is a full-time, permanent opportunity based in Mackay.

Lead the establishment and day-to-day operations of the centre, managing a multidisciplinary team and key stakeholders while ensuring high-quality, person-centred mental health service delivery.

Duties

• Lead the Medicare Mental Health Centre Mackay team and day-to-day program delivery.
• Ensure safe, efficient and high-quality consumer care and support.
• Oversee clinical and psychosocial service delivery in line with the Centre model.
• Drive best practice, quality outcomes and effective service performance.

Skills & Experience

• Holds relevant tertiary qualifications in a mental health discipline (e.g. allied health, peer work, health promotion, Aboriginal health, nursing) or similar
• Has experience in mental health or community service management roles
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing multidisciplinary teams
• Strong interpersonal, communication, influencing and consultation skills
