Branch Manager - Electrical & Refrigeration

Location: Emerald, QLD

Salary: $120,000 – $140,000 + FMCV + Super + Laptop & Phone

Residential Role: Monday–Friday Roster (sleep at home every night)

As the business enters its next stage of growth, we're looking for a Branch Manager to take the reins in Emerald and lead from the front.

This isn't a desk job buried in admin. You'll be the senior on-site leader for a combined electrical and refrigeration operation, backed by central support functions (accounts, HR, estimating, inventory, systems, and operations) so you can focus on what matters: leading your people, looking after your customers, and driving the branch's performance.

The Opportunity

As the senior leader on site, you’ll be responsible for leading electrical and refrigeration teams, overseeing scheduling and job management, supporting quoting and variations, driving safety and compliance, managing branch performance and profitability, and building strong customer relationships.

Ideal Background

• Perfect Scenario: Dual trade qualified (Electrical + Refrigeration), alternatively
• One trade qualification with solid exposure to the other discipline, or
• An experienced Service Manager from a trade-based environment
• Willingness to hold or work toward being the nominated Qualified Technical Person (QTP) and/or Qualified Businessperson (QBP) for the business
• Current National Police Check and Blue Card (or willingness to obtain before starting)
• Someone who understands the commercial side of the business, not just the technical side
• A confident communicator who can lead both field and office teams with credibility
• An approachable, decisive leader who's comfortable owning decisions and results

You will bring proven leadership of trade-based teams, strong operational and commercial understanding, experience managing workflow and job profitability, confidence in dealing with customers, and a safety-first mindset.
