About the Opportunity

Ganaji Contracting is currently seeking experienced

Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Technicians to join established project teams working across major Oil & Gas, LNG and Heavy Industrial projects in WA.

We are looking for experienced

E&I tradespeople with proven capability across electrical and instrumentation installation, testing, pre-commissioning and commissioning, who can confidently work in demanding construction and project environments.

Skills & Experience

• Minimum 5 years’ post-apprenticeship experience in Heavy Industry Electrical & Instrumentation
• Proven experience working across electrical and instrumentation installation, testing, pre-commissioning and commissioning within LNG, Oil & Gas, Mining, Process Plant or other Heavy Industrial environments
• Strong experience with cable testing, continuity testing, insulation resistance testing, pre-energisation checks and loop checking
• Experience with instrument installation, testing and calibration, including pressure, temperature, flow and other process instrumentation
• Experience with functional testing and commissioning of electrical, instrumentation and control systems
• Exposure to PLC/DCS/ICSS systems and control-system testing would be highly regarded
• Ability to interpret P&IDs, loop drawings, schematics, ITRs and commissioning documentation
• Strong understanding of Permit to Work, Isolation and LOTO procedures
• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary electrical, instrumentation, construction and commissioning teams
