About the Role

We are looking for an experienced SAP Security Consultant to join our growing development practice. This is a permanent opportunity for a hands-on SAP Security professional with strong consulting experience in SAP role design, authorisations, Segregation of Duties (SoD), and security model redesign.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and assess existing SAP security roles, authorisations, and user access models.
• Design and redesign SAP roles aligned with business processes and security requirements.
• Perform SoD assessment, risk identification, remediation, and controls.
• Analyse complex SAP environments and large role/user populations.
• Develop future-state SAP security models, rather than simply administering existing roles.
• Apply SAP security best practices, least-privilege principles, and effective access controls.
• Work closely with SAP functional teams and business process owners to understand end-to-end business processes.
• Translate business and functional requirements into robust SAP security and authorisation solutions.
• Support implementation and transition of redesigned security models.
• Establish and improve SAP security governance and role lifecycle processes.
• Prepare security documentation and communicate recommendations effectively to stakeholders.

Essential Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of hands-on SAP Security experience.
• Strong experience in SAP role design, redesign, and authorisations.
• Extensive experience with Segregation of Duties (SoD) assessment and remediation.
• Strong knowledge of SAP authorisation objects, transactions, and organisational levels.
• Experience working with complex SAP environments and large-scale user/role populations.
• Strong understanding of SAP security best practices and least-privilege principles.
• Proven consulting experience working with functional teams and business stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Demonstrated experience reviewing an existing SAP security environment, redesigning the role model, resolving SoD risks, and supporting implementation.
