Tube Fitters | Karratha | FIFO 3:1 | 12-Hour Days | 6-Week Project

Ganaji Contracting is seeking experienced

Tube Fitters to join a short-term Oil & Gas / Process Plant construction project in Karratha, WA.

We are looking for experienced tradespeople with a strong background in instrumentation tubing, small bore tubing and instrument hook-up work, particularly those experienced with stainless steel tubing, tube bending and Swagelok or Gyrolok fittings.

This is a 6-week casual project with a 3:1 FIFO roster and 12-hour days. If you have the required experience and are available for an immediate start, we would like to hear from you.

Project Details

• Location: Karratha, WA
• Roster: 3 weeks on / 1 week off (3:1)
• Hours: 12-hour days
• Duration: Approximately 6 weeks
• Employment: Casual
• Start: ASAP
• FIFO: Available from Australian capital cities

Scope of Work

As a Tube Fitter, you will be responsible for the installation, fabrication and testing of instrumentation tubing systems across the project.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Installation and fabrication of stainless-steel instrumentation tubing
• Measuring, cutting, bending, routing and securing tubing assemblies
• Installation of small-bore tubing and instrument hook-ups
• Installation of Swagelok, Gyrolok and similar compression fittings
• Reading and interpreting P&IDs, isometric and instrumentation drawings
• Pressure testing and inspection of completed tubing systems
• Supporting construction and pre-commissioning activities
• Working closely with construction and commissioning teams
• Maintaining high standards of safety, quality and housekeeping on site

Skills & Experience

To be considered for this position, you will have:

• Proven experience as a Tube Fitter / Instrumentation Tube Fitter
• Previous experience on Oil & Gas, LNG, Process Plant, Mining or major industrial construction projects
• Strong understanding of instrumentation tube fitting and small-bore installation
• Ability to work safely and effectively within a site-based construction team
• Strong commitment to quality and project requirements
• Ability to commit to the full 6-week project

Tickets & Qualifications

• Relevant trade qualification or demonstrated Tube Fitting experience
• White Card
• Working at Heights - within the last 3 years
• High Risk Work Licence - highly regarded
• EWP, Forklift and HR Licence - highly regarded
• Full Australian working rights
• Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment medical and site requirements
