One of Sydney’s most awarded independent agencies is now hiring! This senior leadership opportunity is available for someone that is currently acting as a PR Senior Account Director or newly-appointed PR Group Account Director with experience in consumer PR.

You have proven experience managing consumer clients, budgets and a team of PR consultants. If you are looking to move into a creatively-led consumer PR agency and work across internal teams (PR, digital, creative), this is it!

The Opportunity

  • Support the General Manager to manage consumer PR & media campaigns
  • Be a strategic and trusted client advisor through the delivery of outstanding end-to-end client experience
  • Work with the General Manager to develop PR strategies & new client/product offerings
  • Liaise with C-Suite-level clients
  • Support a team of PR Coordinators, Execs and Account Managers
  • Develop engaging and dynamic corpsumer PR campaigns for your clients
  • Identify and participate in external thought leadership opportunities to build awareness of the agency’s expertise
  • Update media lists and ensure you are well networked with local and national corporate media

You

  • Live in Sydney, Australia
  • Have at least 8+ years’ public relations experience (agency preferred)
  • Have an excellent understanding of the Australian media landscape
  • Previous experience working across corporate clients is desirable
  • You’re a conceptual thinker and leader and up to date with current digital trends across the Australian media landscape and platforms (web, mobile, audio, email and social media)
  • You’re a natural storyteller and have innovative ways to bring a story to life through your work
  • Have excellent communication skills (including written and verbal)
  • Can develop presentation decks with a clear narrative
