About The Role

We're looking for an Early Career Speech Pathologist to join our Mount Gambier team. Open to full-time and part-time.

You'll be working across home, school and community settings, supporting NDIS participants across the lifespan. You'll be part of a multidisciplinary team, working alongside OT and Behaviour Support colleagues, with strong virtual connections to the wider Avina network.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Deliver person-centred Speech Pathology services across home, school and community settings
  • Complete assessments, intervention planning and ongoing therapy
  • Support participants across communication and/or mealtime/dysphagia presentations
  • Collaborate with families, carers, educators and the broader multidisciplinary team
  • Manage a varied caseload across community and clinic
  • Take part in regular supervision, peer collaboration and professional development

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor or Master of Speech Pathology
  • Current Speech Pathology Australia (SPA) membership, CPSP preferred or in progress
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working With Children Check, or willingness to obtain
  • Driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle, this role involves community-based work, so this is genuinely required
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • A collaborative and person-centred approach to therapy
