ILS & Configuration Management Specialists (NV1 or above clearance required)

On behalf of ourt clients who operate in the Australian Defence sector we are currently seeking experienced security‑cleared Defence professionals to support a major Defence program in Adelaide.

We are specifically looking for individuals with proven capability in one or more of the following areas:

• Integrated Logistics Support (ILS), engineering logistics, supportability or reliability analysis
• Configuration Management, configuration analysis or technical data management

These positions are offered as full‑time permanent roles, working on‑site within our Adelaide facilities.

The Opportunity

You will be part of an integrated project environment, collaborating closely with engineering, project management, maintenance, supply, technical and commercial teams. Depending on your background, your responsibilities may include:

• Developing and enhancing engineering support and logistics solutions across the capability lifecycle
• Conducting reliability, maintainability, availability and supportability analysis
• Preparing support plans, analytical models, technical reports and recommendations
• Supporting maintenance, supply, engineering and technical data activities
• Establishing and maintaining product configurations, technical baselines and configuration records
• Supporting engineering change, configuration control and status‑accounting processes
• Planning and facilitating configuration reviews and audits
• Managing engineering, product and project data within controlled systems
• Monitoring technical activities, risks, progress and performance
• Improving engineering processes, governance, tools and supporting documentation
• Working with customers, suppliers, subcontractors and multidisciplinary delivery teams
• Providing guidance and mentoring to less‑experienced personnel

Essential Skills & Experience

We are seeking candidates who bring:

• A minimum of four years’ relevant professional experience (additional experience expected for senior or lead roles)
• Background in ILS, logistics support analysis, reliability engineering, configuration management or related disciplines
• Understanding of complex engineering systems and the relationship between design, maintenance, supply, support and technical data
• Experience working with technical documentation, product structures, engineering data or controlled baselines
• Familiarity with engineering management, configuration management, PLM or logistics analysis systems
• Strong analytical capability and the ability to develop practical, evidence‑based solutions
• High‑quality written communication and technical reporting skills
• Confidence engaging with customers and multidisciplinary stakeholders
• Ability to manage priorities and deliver quality outcomes with limited supervision
• A current Australian security clearance

Highly Regarded Experience

The following will be viewed favourably:

• Experience with complex electronic, communications, maritime or software‑intensive systems
• Reliability, maintainability and availability analysis
• Maintenance requirements analysis and support‑system development
• Configuration identification, engineering change control and configuration audits
• Engineering or product data management
• Formal training or certification in configuration management, systems engineering, logistics, reliability or project management
• Experience supporting estimates, tenders or solution‑development activities
• Mentoring or guiding technical personnel
