Registered Architect

My client has taken on a well known Heritage site which will have luxury residential and retail components to the building. A project with a legacy.

We’re working with a landmark, established architectural practice in Brisbane with an exceptional reputation in the industry, and they are looking for a Registered Architect to join their team on a truly special project.

At the heart of the role is a significant heritage site, being thoughtfully transformed to incorporate high-end residential living and an elevated retail experience. It’s complex, layered and highly considered the kind of project where the finished result will stand the test of time and become part of the fabric of the city.

For an Architect who enjoys getting into the detail, solving complex design challenges and seeing projects through to delivery, this is a fantastic opportunity.

We’re looking for a strong architectural all-rounder who is increasingly leaning towards the delivery side of projects, ideally with solid experience from Design Development through documentation and into construction.

You’ll work collaboratively within an experienced project team, contributing to the resolution and delivery of a complex, design-led project where heritage, residential and retail requirements all come together.

As a Registered Architect we are currently looking for someone with project experience across the following sectors:

• Multi-residential
• Retail
• Hospitality
• Hotels
• Mixed-use or similarly complex building typologies

The key is that you understand the level of coordination, detailing and problem-solving required to deliver sophisticated architecture.

We are ideally looking for someone who is a Registered Architect with around 8+ years' architectural experience overall. That said, we’re not interested in ruling out a great Architect because they don’t fit neatly into a number. If you are currently registered in Australia, have been genuinely hands on across complex projects and can demonstrate strong local project exposure and technical knowledge, we would still love to hear from you.

In this role, we will require you to have:

• Current Architectural Registration in Australia
• Local Australian architectural experience
• A Bachelor or Master of Architecture
• Strong Revit capability — essential
• Experience working on complex architectural projects outlined in the sectors above
• Exposure to Design Development, documentation and construction phases
• Strong technical, detailing and coordination skills
• The ability to work collaboratively across consultants, internal teams and project stakeholders
• A genuine interest in delivering high-quality architecture
• Revit is also essential for this role

Please note: we will not be accepting overseas applications for this position. Applicants must have local Australian architectural experience and be currently registered as an Architect in Australia to be considered.
