About the Role

You'll play a key role in ensuring our building assets remain safe, compliant, functional and fit for purpose for the community. You will coordinate preventative and reactive maintenance programs across Council's building assets, monitor contractor performance, manage maintenance requests and support the delivery of Council's asset management strategies. You'll also provide specialist asset management expertise, lead maintenance and renewal programs, manage operational and capital works projects, develop strategic initiatives and contribute to long-term asset planning and sustainability outcomes.

What We’re Looking For

  • Current C Class Driver's Licence.
  • Relevant qualifications in Asset Management, Facilities Management, Building, Construction or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
  • Experience coordinating building and facility maintenance activities.
  • Strong contractor management and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Knowledge of relevant building standards, maintenance practices and WHS requirements.
  • Experience using asset management or maintenance management systems.
