Senior Services Engineer

Defence Consulting | NV2 Clearance Required | Long-Term Contract

We are currently partnered with a Defence Consultancy seeking an experienced Senior Services Engineer to join a key Defence program supporting the Australian Army's Land Network Integration Centre (LNIC).

Working within a specialist engineering team, you will provide hands-on systems engineering, integration, validation and technical assurance services across complex Land, Joint and Coalition networks and mission systems.

This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge Defence capability initiatives, system integration activities and coalition interoperability programs supporting Australia's future Land Combat System.

Your new role

• Engineering and integrating complex ICT and mission systems
• Systems integration, testing, verification and validation activities
• Managing system interfaces, dependencies and configuration baselines
• Providing Level 3 engineering support across integrated environments
• Supporting Defence stakeholders to resolve complex integration issues
• Developing architecture and technical design documentation
• Conducting integration analysis and technical remediation activities
• Supporting test events, risk reduction activities and capability trials
• Providing technical mentoring and training to Defence personnel
• Contributing to innovation and future capability initiatives

What you'll need to succeed

• Extensive experience integrating complex ICT environments
• Strong systems engineering background
• Experience with enterprise application and information systems integration
• LAN/WAN engineering expertise including routing, DNS, DHCP and network segmentation
• Experience implementing security controls aligned to the ISM and Essential Eight
• Active Directory, Group Policy and Identity Services experience
• Windows Server and Windows desktop engineering experience
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Ability to provide authoritative technical advice in Defence environments
• Current AGSVA NV2 clearance

Highly regarded:

• Systems Engineering qualifications
• PowerShell, Bash or Ansible automation experience
• Deployable or Defence tactical network experience
• FVEY or Coalition network exposure
• Test & Evaluation experience
• MBSE experience
