They're currently seeking an experienced Civil Project Engineer to join their civil construction team, working on a 10/ 4 roster based in Central Queensland.

They're currently seeking an experienced Civil Project Engineer to join their civil construction team, working on a 10/ 4 roster based in Central Queensland.

The Opportunity

As a Civil Project Engineer, you’ll have the opportunity to work closely with a dynamic team of Project Managers and Senior Project Engineers to contribute to the engineering solutions.

Projects you will be working on

• Water infrastructure asset
• Oil and gas facility civil works
• Major road upgrades, including intersection works
• Renewable energy infrastructure projects

Key Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day engineering support and technical oversight across active civil construction works
• Review and interpret design drawings, specifications and technical documentation
• Manage and coordinate subcontractors and site personnel to ensure works are delivered in line with program and specification
• Undertake quality assurance and quality control processes, ensuring compliance with project and Australian Standards requirements
• Support surveying, setout and as-constructed verification activities
• Assist with program planning, resourcing and productivity tracking
• Identify and manage on-site risks, ensuring works are delivered safely and in line with WHS requirements
• Liaise with clients, consultants and other project stakeholders on-site

Qualifications and Experience

• Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering (or similar) is highly regarded
• Demonstrated experience as a Project Engineer within a civil construction environment
• Experience across water infrastructure, resources/oil and gas, or road infrastructure projects highly valued
• Strong understanding of civil construction methodology, quality systems and Australian Standards
• Confident communicator, comfortable liaising with site teams, subcontractors and clients
• Willingness to work a 10/4 roster based in Central Queensland
