We are on the lookout for our next part-time Sales Assistant based at our Wangaratta store.

You Will Be Responsible For

  • Providing knowledgeable advice and product solutions to trade and retail customers
  • Handling all paint related enquiries, including tinting paint products and colour matching to customer requirements
  • Inventory control/stock replenishment (manual handling up to 15kg involved)
  • Taking orders in-store and by phone
  • Building strong relationships with new and repeat customers
  • Assisting with visual displays and store presentation
  • Making local deliveries

What You Will Bring To The Role

  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills
  • A genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences
  • Previous experience in customer service, retail, inventory management or merchandising (desirable)
  • Confidence using technology (Experience with Point of Sales systems advantageous)
  • Sound numeracy skills and attention to detail, including the ability to accurately process transactions and comprehend tint percentages/ratios
  • The ability to follow processes, take initiative and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a practical, customer-focused approach.
  • Trade experience is highly regarded

Requirements

  • Current valid driver’s license
  • Australian Working Rights

This position works a rotating roster across our 6-day a week trade (Monday - Saturday).
