About the Role
DP World is seeking a proactive Technical Learning Manager to join our People team based in Port Botany, NSW. Working within the Learning & Development team, you will partner with leaders across our Container Parks business to build capability that supports operational excellence and prepares our workforce for the future. You’ll identify capability gaps, develop scalable learning solutions and turn operational knowledge into practical capability solutions that help people learn, perform and succeed.
Working closely with leaders and subject matter experts, you’ll shape how technical capability is developed across our business and support initiatives to improve performance, strengthen workforce readiness and meet operational, safety and compliance requirements.
You’ll develop and support frontline technical training programs, translate corporate learning frameworks into site-based training, work with SMEs to enhance learning content, and use training data to support continuous improvement, audit and reporting requirements. You’ll join a team redefining how learning and capability are developed across the business, with the opportunity to create practical solutions and influence how learning is experienced in an operational environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the business and wider Learning and Development team to shape and evolve technical capability across the Container Parks Business through practical, scalable learning solutions
- Identify capability gaps and develop targeted learning initiatives that support workforce performance and operational outcomes
- Develop and enhance frontline learning programs, collaborating with subject matter experts to embed operational knowledge and improve performance, safety and workforce readiness
- Build workplace trainer capability and undertake assurance activities to strengthen learning quality and delivery across sites
- Use data insights and feedback to measure effectiveness, drive continuous improvement and meet compliance requirements
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in learning, capability development or technical training with frontline operational environments
- Experience partnering with stakeholders to identify capability needs and translate them into effective learning solutions.
- Facilitation/training experience, with experience developing practical, workplace-based learning programs
- Experience coaching, developing or supporting workplace trainers and subject matter experts
- Ability to analyse data, identify trends and use insights to drive continuous improvement
- Strong stakeholder engagement, communication and project management skills

Forklift licence
