Occupational Therapist role at NeuroRehab

An exciting opportunity is available due to team growth! We're seeking a creative and confident Occupational Therapist to join our supportive and growing multidisciplinary team.

The caseload will be working with the adult population and assisting people with traumatic brain injury, stroke, spinal cord injury, MS, cerebral palsy, intellectual disability, and a diverse range of other neurological impairments. The Occupational Therapy position within the neurological disability space is challenging, yet rewarding, allowing clinicians to be innovative and provide tailored programs. If you want to establish long-term plans with your clients to help them achieve their goals, we would love to hear from you.

Clinical snapshot

  • Delivery of therapeutic services including OT assessments, interventions, treatment planning, education, and reporting.
  • Prescription and funding requests of AT as required.
  • Support clients with a person-centred approach, to promote inclusion and new possibilities.
  • Collaborate with a well-structured multidisciplinary team.

What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for an OT who’s ready to bring their creativity and passion to our team.

You’ll need

  • Current AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist
  • Ability to obtain a Police Check, Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Influenza vaccination

It would also be great if you have:

  • Experience working within the NDIS
  • Knowledge and experience prescribing assistive technology
  • An understanding of neurodivergence and family-centred practice
