Fusion Middleware Developer

We are currently recruiting a Senior Fusion Middleware Developer for a 12-month federal government ICT engagement based in Canberra, ACT. This is a senior, hands-on technical role suited to an experienced Oracle Fusion Middleware specialist with strong integration and technical leadership capability.

Senior Fusion Middleware Developer | ACT | NV1 Clearance Required

Role: Senior Fusion Middleware Developer (Software Engineer, EL1 equivalent)

Location: ACT | Working Arrangement: Onsite for the first 6 weeks, then hybrid may be considered

Contract: Up to 12 months, with extension options up to 24 months total

Start Date: 1 December 2026

Clearance: Must be able to obtain Negative Vetting Level 1 (NV1)

Key experience required:

  • 2+ years' hands-on Oracle Fusion Middleware development experience
  • Oracle SOA Suite 12c, Oracle Service Bus, BPEL, Mediator and Oracle Web Service Manager
  • Oracle API Gateway and/or IBM Data Power, JDeveloper
  • Web Services (WSDL/WADL, SOAP, REST/JSON), XSLT, XQuery, XML
  • Java, Oracle RDBMS 12c and PL/SQL development
  • Experience building integration services with systems such as Siebel, SAP, OPA, IDM and/or ADFS
  • Proven experience designing and documenting SOAP/REST-based services (Service Contract and Interface Mapping documents)
  • Experience configuring and hosting services in WebLogic Server
