About Our Client

Our client is a leading underground coal mining operation committed to safe, efficient, and sustainable mining practices. They are seeking experienced Development Electricians to support underground operations and development activities within a high-performing team environment.

What You Will Be Doing

• Carrying out installation, maintenance, and fault-finding on underground mining equipment
• Supporting underground development operations and infrastructure
• Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults on mining equipment and fixed plant
• Completing preventative maintenance and statutory inspections
• Ensuring all work is carried out in compliance with site safety standards and legislative requirements
• Working closely with production and maintenance crews to minimise downtime
• Maintaining accurate maintenance records and reports

What You Will Need

• Electrical Trade Qualification
• Current Electrical Licence
• Proven underground coal mining experience (essential)
• Previous experience as a Development Electrician highly regarded
• Standard 11 and Coal Board Medical
• Current Driver's Licence
• Full Australian working rights
