What You Will Be Doing

• Undertaking arboriculture maintenance activities across council assets and public spaces
• Operating heavy machinery, plant equipment, and hand-held motorised tools safely and efficiently
• Performing tree maintenance, pruning, removal, and general horticultural tasks
• Completing minor engineering, horticultural, and arboriculture works as required
• Reading plans and undertaking basic surveying activities
• Responding to customer enquiries and liaising with residents, suppliers, and stakeholders professionally

What You Will Need

• Previous Arborist experience within local government, civil, horticulture, or maintenance environments
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
• Effective time management and resource planning skills
• Positive, proactive, and self-motivated attitude
• Flexibility to work across multiple teams and projects
