SIEM Engineer -Palo Alto XSIAM

About the Opportunity

A technology consultancy is seeking an experienced Palo Alto XSIAM Data Engineer to support a data onboarding initiative within a complex technology environment.

This is a hands-on role requiring someone who can hit the ground running. The ideal candidate will combine strong Palo Alto XSIAM expertise with a solid background in data engineering, particularly around onboarding and integrating data into security platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the onboarding of data into Palo Alto XSIAM.
  • Work across data engineering and security requirements to enable effective data integration.
  • Assist with the ingestion, integration and onboarding of relevant data sources.
  • Troubleshoot data onboarding and integration issues.
  • Work closely with technical stakeholders to deliver outcomes at pace.
  • Contribute hands-on Palo Alto XSIAM expertise from the outset.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong hands-on Palo Alto XSIAM experience is essential.
  • Demonstrated background in data engineering.
  • Experience with data onboarding, ingestion and integration.
  • Ability to work effectively in a hands-on technical environment.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to quickly understand requirements and drive delivery.

Highly Desirable

  • Previous experience delivering Palo Alto XSIAM data onboarding initiatives.
  • Experience integrating multiple data sources into security platforms.
  • Broader cybersecurity data engineering experience.
