Maintenance Manager - Chemical Manufacturing Western Sydney (Smithfield Area) | $150,000 Package | Mon–Fri Day Shift

A well-established chemical manufacturing site in Western Sydney is seeking an experienced

Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations and drive plant reliability, safety, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise a small team of mechanical and electrical trades
  • Develop and execute preventive and corrective maintenance strategies
  • Manage contractors, spare parts, and maintenance budgets
  • Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and dangerous goods requirements
  • Maintain CMMS records (MEX preferred)
  • Drive continuous improvement to minimise downtime

About You

  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Manager or Senior Maintenance Supervisor
  • Essential: chemical manufacturing / hazardous environment experience
  • Strong safety and compliance mindset
  • Hands-on leadership style
  • Engineering qualification or equivalent trade experience
  • CMMS experience (MEX highly regarded)
