This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being hands-on with release planning and coordination, working across multiple projects and bringing together technical teams, business stakeholders and vendors to ensure smooth and successful deployments. You'll be joining a busy technology portfolio delivering a range of system enhancements and changes across complex enterprise applications.
What you'll be doing
- Managing and coordinating end-to-end release activities across multiple projects and environments.
- Developing and maintaining detailed release schedules, deployment plans, cutover runbooks and rollback strategies.
- Coordinating SIT, UAT and production releases, ensuring teams and environments are ready for deployment.
- Working closely with project teams, technical resources, business stakeholders and external vendors.
- Managing release risks, dependencies and issues to keep activities on track.
- Supporting release governance, including CAB meetings, change requests and approvals.
- Maintaining release reporting, schedules and documentation using tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira and ServiceNow.
What we're looking for
- At least 6 years' experience leading deployments and release activities across large, complex ICT projects.
- Strong hands-on Microsoft Project experience, particularly managing detailed schedules across multiple teams and workstreams.
- Demonstrated experience managing complex releases across SIT, UAT and production environments.
- Experience developing deployment runbooks, cutover plans and rollback strategies.
- A good understanding of release governance, change management and ITIL processes.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to coordinate both technical and non-technical teams.
- Someone who is organised, proactive and comfortable managing competing priorities in a busy delivery environment.
- Experience with Agile delivery, Jira, ServiceNow or enterprise platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 would be highly regarded.
As part of the role, some after-hours or weekend availability will be required to support planned deployments.
