Senior Contracts Administrator (Building Construction)

We are partnering with a well-established and highly respected organisation with a strong presence in the construction industry. Due to continued growth and a healthy pipeline of projects, an opportunity has become available for an experienced Senior Contracts Administrator to join their team.

This role will play a key part in the commercial management and successful delivery of significant construction projects, working closely with project teams, subcontractors, and key stakeholders.

About the role

• Manage subcontract procurement, negotiation, and administration
• Prepare, review, and administer contracts and project documentation
• Monitor project costs, variations, claims, and payment processes
• Support project teams with commercial and contractual advice
• Manage subcontractor relationships and contractual obligations
• Identify and mitigate commercial risk throughout the project lifecycle
• Assist with forecasting, reporting, and financial performance monitoring

Skills and Experience

• Proven experience as a Contracts Administrator or Senior Contracts Administrator within the construction industry
• Strong understanding of contract administration and commercial management principles
• Experience managing subcontractor packages on medium to large-scale projects
• Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced project environment
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related discipline
