About the Role

Reporting directly to the Project Manager, the Maintenance Superintendent will drive a safe, productive and reliable maintenance operation across a diverse underground fleet.

You will provide leadership, technical expertise and strategic direction to ensure equipment reliability, maintenance excellence and compliance with safety and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop a team of mechanical professionals
• Oversee maintenance and repair activities across site equipment
• Drive equipment reliability and fleet performance
• Manage maintenance planning, scheduling and execution
• Investigate equipment breakdowns and implement preventative solutions
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, training, environmental and quality systems
• Monitor performance and deliver continuous improvement initiatives

About You

You are a motivated maintenance leader with a strong underground mining background and a passion for developing people.

You'll ideally have:

• Mechanical Trade Qualification or relevant tertiary qualification
• Proven underground mining maintenance experience
• Previous leadership experience managing mechanical teams
• Strong planning, communication and problem solving skills
• Ability to prioritise work in a dynamic production environment
• Current manual driver's licence
• Ability to obtain and maintain a National Police Clearance
