With a strong pipeline of work and continued growth in Queensland, they are seeking an experienced Senior Structural Engineer who brings technical capability, leadership qualities, and the ability to develop strong relationships with clients and colleagues.

The Opportunity

You will play an important role in the continued development of the Brisbane structural engineering team, with responsibilities including:

• Leading and mentoring Structural Engineers and Designers across multiple projects.
• Managing structural engineering delivery on major commercial and high-rise developments.
• Providing technical direction, design reviews and quality assurance.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, architects and other consultants.
• Coordinating project resources, programmes, deadlines and deliverables.
• Remaining actively involved in structural design and complex engineering decisions.
• Creating a positive, collaborative environment where engineers feel supported and motivated.
• Working closely with senior management to support the continued growth of the Brisbane team.

What we're looking for

• 7+ years of structural engineering experience within an Australian engineering consultancy.
• Strong experience in high-rise buildings and major commercial structures.
• Excellent knowledge of reinforced concrete and structural steel design.
• Demonstrated leadership capability and experience mentoring engineers.
• Strong client-facing skills and confidence managing professional relationships.
• Proven ability to manage project delivery, technical quality and deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with ETABS, SpaceGass, RAPT or similar structural engineering software would be advantageous.
• A genuine interest in developing people and contributing to a successful team environment.
