Environment & Planning Solicitor

Beatty Hughes & Associates is a leading specialist planning, environment, valuation and heritage law practice, with offices located in the Sydney CBD.

We are looking to hire a solicitor with at least 3 years PAE to join our team. This is a full-time role.

Essential

• Experience in advising on Environmental Planning and Assessment, Contaminated Land Management and Protection of the Environment (Operations) Act matters
• Experience in LEC matters (appearances and instructing Counsel)
• Experience in dealing with Councils, the EPA and other regulatory agencies
• Good communication skills
• Willingness to work in a small team

Desirable

• Experience in compulsory acquisition and land tax appeal matters
• Experience in advising on heritage matters
