Senior Menswear Product Manager | Senior Buyer

The Opportunity

This senior role suits a commercially minded product leader. You’ll take full ownership of a group of apparel and accessories categories and shape them from first idea to the shop floor. You’ll combine creative, design-led thinking with sharp sourcing and trading skills, and you’ll be measured on sales, intake margin and OTB performance.

What You’ll Do

  • Steer your categories across the full product journey: range selection, supplier negotiation, order placement and delivery into the warehouse
  • Build ranges that hit sales and margin targets while giving customers product they want to buy
  • Spot emerging trends, colour stories and print directions through international travel, desk research and close watch of the local market
  • Grow and manage a supplier base across several sourcing regions, bringing on new partners while keeping strong existing relationships
  • Work hand in hand with Production from fabric and wash development through trims, artwork, fittings and final sample sign-off, keeping the critical path on track
  • Shape pricing, mix and depth with Planning, then manage the range in season through repeats, markdowns and core line performance
  • Manage OTB carefully and phase deliveries to suit trade
  • Develop original prints with the in-house textile designer, staying within copyright guidelines
  • Track competitor activity across product, price and marketing
  • Contribute hero looks for campaigns and digital, and keep range books, product guides and online attributes up to date
  • Test new categories and product opportunities
  • Be the go-to expert for the wider product team and help bring new starters up to speed

What You’ll Bring

  • 5 years + in senior buying or product management, with clear ownership of sales, intake margin and OTB
  • Deep experience sourcing across multiple countries, with an established supplier network and strong negotiation skills
  • Solid technical knowledge of garment construction, fabrication, fit and critical path
  • A natural eye for product and trend, backed by confident use of data to make commercial calls
  • Strong organisation and calm under pressure in a fast-moving environment
  • A collaborative, decisive leadership style, with a willingness to mentor others and keep learning yourself
  • Available for regular international travel
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint

On Offer

  • Up to $170,000 + super
  • Join an established business who are people first with a strong culture
  • Product discount across multiple brands
