Senior System Administrator Infrastructure Engineer

Contract Duration: Multiyear contract (commencing February 2027)

Location – ACT OR NSW

Clearance - TSPV Security Clearance Required

Key Responsibilities

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Linux systems administration across on-prem and cloud environments.
  • Deep expertise in VMware and VMware Aria, including design, deployment, and lifecycle management.
  • Strong networking knowledge, including experience configuring and troubleshooting VLANs, DNS, load balancers, and firewall rules.
  • Experience deploying and configuring sandboxed (or isolated) environments.
  • Experience deploying developer and analyst tooling, including IDE environments, package management, and access controls.
  • Ability to create and maintain system documentation and standard operating procedures.

Key Skills & Experience

  • Ability to learn, deploy and maintain new applications.
  • Knowledge in client-server architecture.
  • Knowledge in designing and creating software solutions around best practices and scale.
  • Knowledge in ASD Essential 8.
