Fashion Production Coordinator Intern - NOTE MUST SPEAK MANDARIN

Australian Fashion Collective | Burwood, NSW

Who We Are

Australian Fashion Collective is the company behind Lunalae - a fast-growing women's activewear, polewear and intimates brand with a cult following. We've built a community of over 100K on Facebook and 105K on Instagram, and we're just getting started. Our team is young, driven and genuinely collaborative - we move fast, think big, and support each other to get there.

If you want real experience at a brand that's actually going places, this is it.

The Opportunity

We're looking for a Production Intern to join our team and work hands-on across the full production process - from concept to delivery. You'll work directly alongside our directors and production manager, not making coffee in the corner. This is a meaningful role designed to give you the kind of experience that actually matters on your resume.

There's also real potential for a full-time role if you're the right fit.

What You'll Do

• Work alongside our production manager and design team to bring Lunalae collections to life

• Assist with sample fittings and garment reviews

• Prepare technical sketches for manufacturer use

• Support product launch preparation and timelines

• Communicate with suppliers - building relationships and negotiating pricing

• Coordinate stock deliveries and logistics

• Bring your own ideas - we genuinely love creative input

What We're Looking For

• Studying or recently graduated in Fashion Design, Production, or a related field

• Mandarin-speaking is essential

• Positive, proactive attitude - willing to roll up your sleeves

• A team player who takes initiative

• Available minimum 2 days/week for at least 3 months

What You Get

• Real, hands-on experience in a growing fashion brand

• Staff discount on Lunalae products

• Written reference on completion

• Direct mentorship from company directors

• Potential pathway to a paid role

• Convenient Lidcombe location - near shops, gym and public transport, with parking

The Details

• 2 days/week, Monday – Friday, 9AM–5PM

• Need to be in office two of the following days: Monday, Wednesday and Friday

• Unpaid internship

• Start date: ASAP

How to Apply

Send your CV

Want to stand out? Include a short video (optional) telling us why you're the right fit and what you'd bring to the team. If you'd rather not do a video, just tell us why, we appreciate the honesty. Either way, include a paragraph on why this role is ideal for you right now.

We're looking for the right person, not just the first available one. Take your time and make it count.
