TOM People are partnering with a leading entertainment organisation to appoint a Senior Commercial Finance Manager. Reporting to the CFO, this role acts as the commercial finance lead for a major Sydney operation, with responsibility for planning, forecasting, management reporting, business partnering and performance analysis across the business.

Role responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning
• Own management reporting and financial performance analysis
• Partner with operational leaders to improve revenue, margins and profitability
• Deliver commercial insights and recommendations to support decision-making
• Lead and develop a team of commercial finance professionals
• Drive continuous improvement across reporting and planning processes
• Support strategic initiatives through modelling and business case analysis

About you

• CA/CPA qualified
• Strong commercial finance, FP&A or business partnering experience
• Proven leadership capability with experience managing teams
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
• Background in entertainment, retail, consumer-facing or complex multi-site businesses highly regarded
