We are looking for a motivated Housekeeping Room Attendant to join our team on a permanent part-time basis at Best Western Olde Maritime, 110 Merri Street, Warrnambool, VIC — a well-established 43-room property at the western end of the Great Ocean Road, beside Flagstaff Hill Maritime Village and home to the recently refurbished Clovelly Restaurant & Bar.

Role overview

The Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment for our guests. You’ll report to our Housekeeping Supervisor and work as part of a close-knit team that takes pride in every room.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and tidy guest rooms, including making beds, changing linens, vacuuming, dusting and cleaning bathrooms
• Replenish room amenities such as toiletries, towels and beverages
• Provide courteous and professional service to guests, addressing any requests or concerns promptly
• Inspect rooms for cleanliness and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor
• Maintain cleanliness in public areas such as hallways and lobbies
• Keep track of cleaning supplies and report when stock is low
• Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals
