The Opportunity

An established national law firm is seeking an Insurance Litigation Lawyer to join its growing Brisbane practice, with a particular focus on insurance recoveries.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated lawyer looking to develop their expertise in insurance litigation while working with a broad range of insurer and commercial clients.

About the Role

You will be involved in:

• Managing insurance recovery matters, including property damage and motor vehicle claims.
• Conducting litigation from initial assessment through to resolution.
• Drafting pleadings, correspondence, advice and settlement documentation.
• Assessing liability, quantum and recovery prospects.
• Negotiating settlements and resolving disputes.
• Liaising with insurers, clients, experts and external stakeholders.
• Working closely with experienced senior lawyers on complex matters.

About You

To be successful, you will ideally have:

• Experience in insurance litigation, recoveries, property damage or commercial disputes.
• Strong drafting, negotiation and file management skills.
• The ability to manage matters independently while contributing to a collaborative team.
• A commercial approach to dispute resolution and client service.
• A genuine interest in developing your career within insurance litigation.
