Ready to step beyond managing individual projects and take ownership of a broader construction portfolio?
Foundation Recruitment is partnering with an established national principal contractor to appoint a senior Construction Manager to oversee multiple large-scale civil construction projects across the Northern Territory.
With a strong pipeline of government, defence and infrastructure work, including projects valued at $200M+, this is an opportunity to play a key leadership role in a business with the capability, track record and resources to deliver complex projects.

This is a Darwin-based residential role. FIFO arrangements are not available.
The opportunity
Reporting directly to senior management, you'll have genuine responsibility for construction delivery across multiple concurrent projects. This is a portfolio-level leadership position for someone who can see the bigger picture, drive commercial outcomes and bring project teams together to deliver.

- Building high-performing teams - leading, mentoring and developing Project Managers, Engineers and wider construction teams.
- Setting the delivery strategy - developing construction methodologies, resource plans and practical solutions to complex project challenges.
- Influencing future work - supporting pre-contracts with construction planning, programming and methodology input.
- Building client partnerships - maintaining strong relationships with government, defence and other key stakeholders while protecting the company's reputation.
You'll have the autonomy to lead, the support of an experienced senior management team and the opportunity to influence how projects are delivered across the Territory.

You'll ideally have
- A Bachelor of Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification.
- 10+ years' post-graduate experience within a principal contracting environment.
- A demonstrated track record delivering civil construction projects valued at $10M+.
