Special Counsel/ Head of Corporate M&A

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a senior Corporate Lawyer to join a growing and innovative legal practice as Special Counsel/ Head of Corporate M&A.

Working closely with business owners, investors, executives and boards, you will advise on a broad range of corporate transactions while playing a key role in mentoring lawyers, strengthening client relationships and contributing to the continued growth of the practice.

The Role

• Advise on M&A transactions, business acquisitions and disposals.
• Assist with private equity, venture capital and capital raising matters.
• Draft and negotiate transaction documents, including share sale and shareholder agreements.
• Advise on corporate structuring, governance and strategic business initiatives.
• Lead transactions from due diligence through to completion.
• Mentor and support junior lawyers.
• Contribute to business development and practice growth initiatives.

About You

• 10+ years' PAE in Corporate, M&A and transactional matters.
• Strong drafting, negotiation and client management skills.
• Commercially minded with a pragmatic approach to problem-solving.
• Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Demonstrated business development capability.
